Recruiting Organization: Girls on the Run Greater Oregon
Are you looking for a unique service leadership opportunity that allows you to put your lived experiences to direct good use? Girls on the Run Greater Oregon is seeking 12 people to join our new Associate Board. The purpose of the Associate Board is to amplify GOTRGO's presence in the community and aid in the success of GOTRGO's regional goals.
As a member of our associate board, you can expect to:
- Actively support regional coach recruitment efforts including establishing community recruitment platforms, distributing recruitment materials and attending recruiting events where appropriate
- Actively support girl recruitment efforts including establishing community-based recruitment platforms, distributing recruitment materials and attending recruitment events where appropriate.
- Support our SoleMates program for individuals participating in athletic events in support of our scholarship fund
- Network with running groups and other similar organizations
- Support efforts initiated by the GOTRGO Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Committee to recruit coaches who mirror the participants in the program. Provide at least one participant to the GOTRGO Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Committee.
- Recruit Associate Board members whose experience and qualifications may assist the committee.
