This camp helps teach riders with Down syndrome and other disabilities to ride a traditional two wheel bike.

Volunteers are paired up with riders to help spot them while riding, encourage them, reinforce skills the camp staff have taught, and have fun with some amazing kids and adults.

There will be 5 time slots each day to choose from. The camp meets Monday-Friday, August 15-19.
Our current host location is at the Special Olympics Inclusion Center (160 68th St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). This may change if a larger facility in Grand Rapids becomes available to accommodate more riders.

The ideal volunteer would be able to volunteer at the same time slot all 5 days of the week. This helps the camper gain trust, and build on skills with you day after day. We know this can be difficult to commit to, so we would love all the help we can get, so please sign up as available.
