Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is getting very close to opening up our Family Selection Process for this year to start more families on their journey to affordable housing. Our Family Services Manager is looking for key volunteers to become our new Family Services Committee.
Please take a look at the descriptions below, let me know if you're interested, would like more information... We'd love to set you up to talk with you more and see if it's a good fit. There are four committee member positions needed:
Pre-Purchase Support

Establishes a relationship with partner families, assessing their satisfaction during the pre-purchase phase. Operates as a liaison between the partner family and the Family Services Manager.

Post-Purchase Support

Establishes a relationship with partner families, assessing their satisfaction during the post-purchase phase. Operates as a liaison between the partner family and the Family Services Manager. Maintains family services department manuals. Ensures that all family services policies and procedures are accurate and up-to-date.

Events Coordinator

Coordinates/Schedules family services events/meetings.

Program Monitor

Monitors partner family progress while in the homeownership program. Provides periodic reports and updates to partner families to assist in their successful completion of the homeownership program.

• Attendance to Groundbreakings/Home Dedications

• Monthly Family Services Committee Meeting Participation
