ORGANIZATION: ROYAL ROOTS OF FREEDOM

We seek to provide current effective treatment methods for trauma and mental health concerns. Although there are many differing thoughts on what classifies as trauma, as far as the brain is concerned trauma is anything that the brain was unable to process at the time. We make every effort to stay up to date on all trauma research and modalities to give the best understanding possible for ease of healing. We seek to help clients understand why their body and mind do the things they do and how to find peace. We introduce brain and body functioning in an understandable way that fosters hope for change.

As part of the goal of overcoming the obstacles that have hindered past progress we offer the program free of charge. In addition, to deal with scheduling issues, times of contact are outside of a regular 8 to 5 work schedule. (We plan to offer more time options as the program grows). Extensive time is available in order to foster the daily change necessary for developing deeper roots.

Example Program:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Evening 6-8pm will involve individual work in the modalities that are most beneficial to each client.
Saturday 8:30 - 5:30 will involve more opportunities in these modalities as well as the Keys to Freedom group study, an emotional and relational skills training group study, individual counseling, and mentor time to discuss progress. The program goals and times will be tailored to the individual needs of the client.

Modality options include creative arts therapies, somatic therapies, podcasts and book studies with journaling and application, Bible studies, cognitive/behavioral work. We also seek to collaborate with practitioners in the community and refer for their services at donated or reduced rates.

About ROYAL ROOTS OF FREEDOM

Location:

1601 Southwest Parkway, COLLEGE STA, TX 77840, US

Mission Statement

Through immersion in God's word and His ways and understanding of health and healing, we seek to bring women out of their emotional pain and leave them firmly planted in their royal roots where they can live in freedom through Christ.

Description

Royal Roots of Freedom offers Christ-centered, proven and extensive mental health services for women in need.
Our Method: After initial acceptance into the program, our method begins with an assessment of the specific needs of the client. We first address what has kept freedom from happening, the commitment necessary to finally be free, and the evidence that it is possible for everyone. Each client will receive personal mentoring that will guide them through proven psychological methods, Biblical materials, and relational life skills, while providing a place to explore many modes of healing. Specific goals are identified based on previous coping skills and on observation of what has or hasn't worked in the past and individual obstacles.
