In preparation of the upcoming BLK JOY Festival on Saturday, August 19th Black Health Commission needs help putting together a press kit to garner interest from the media.
We need a press release and targeted outreach to media contacts. We prefer someone who already has experience in this space and can 'hit the ground running' once contacted. Please visit our website, www.blackhealthcommission.com, for more information.
More about the BLK JOY Festival
BLK JOY Festival will be held on Saturday, August 19th from 11 am- 4pm at Lake Lorna Doone Park. It is an opportunity for the community to come together to center joy and create a sense of community by curating a brave space for healing. We will have local organizations, music, art, food, and vendors to help curate joy for attendees. Local organizations will provide resources for social services and more for community members to connect with.
