Overview:
Our Safe Passages Program is in need of a volunteer will transport the client to and from boxing classes on Monday evenings in Doraville. The volunteer will offer guidance and support during the drive to and from class.

TRAINING:

Volunteers must participate in the following trainings:

  • 1.5 Hour CCA Agency New Volunteer Orientation
  • Safe Driving Course
  • 3-hour in-person Safe Environment for kids(VIRTUS) Training. This program incorporates best practice standards for the prevention of child sexual abuse.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Respect and empathy for students
  • Love and passion for working with youth
  • Sensitivity to vulnerable populations
  • Willingness to complete agency application process, which includes a background and reference check and agency volunteer orientation
