Recruiting Organization: Remineralize the Earth

Who we are

Remineralize the Earth (RTE) is an international nonprofit based in Northampton, MA.

Remineralization utilizes finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils and forests, produce higher yields and more nutritious food, and store carbon in soils to stabilize the climate. Through our education and outreach, projects, research, and advocacy Remineralize the Earth facilitates a worldwide movement that brings together gardeners and farmers, scientists and policymakers, and the public to create better soils, better food, and a better planet.

We work with local and virtual volunteers on a program management system called Basecamp. Our team is made up of federal work-study students as well as graduate students, researchers, and other professionals. This position is open to current students, recent graduates and professionals.

Assist us in further developing our social media strategy for our environmental nonprofit and growing our social networks by scheduling and posting content on (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, and Patreon). You will work with the creative team and social media strategist.

Help us:

  • Maintain and update our social media platforms
  • Execute and support social media strategies
  • Research and report on emerging social media trends.
  • Schedule and post content on new articles published on the RTE website, celebrating environmental holidays and others, other news related to regenerative agriculture, resharing/retweeting research on our social media accounts

We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and preferably experienced candidate in social media who will enjoy bringing their own energy and ideas to make a difference for RTE.

Please include an attached resume in PDF form and/or LinkedIn profile, along with how many hours per week you are able to volunteer. All responses are to be sent to

Thank you so much for considering volunteering with RTE! We look forward to hearing from you!
