Join Transition House for Dinner on Sunday August 28! We are in need of new food service groups that would like to purchase, cook, and serve dinner at our emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness. If you enjoy this opportunity and want to serve more than one night, just let us know! We are looking for regular groups to serve one night per month!
What does a Transition House Dinner Provider Group look like?
- Anyone who loves sharing food and serving their community!
- 3 to 5 volunteers or more if you would like to rotate the volunteers each time you serve
- Purchase groceries, cook, and plate dinner for 70 adults, teens, and children one night per month from about 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Purchase groceries and assemble sack lunches for the following day
- On-site volunteers must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination.
- On-site volunteers must be over 18

- Must be at least 19
- 4pm-7:30pm on August 28, 2022, plus time shopping for groceries. If you are interested in becoming a regular Dinner Provider, we need new groups to serve once per month.
- All on-site volunteers must be up-to-date on all covid vaccinations and boosters and provide proof of vaccination.
