The Ford Center for the Performing Arts is looking for ushers to join our team. Our ushers perform a variety of jobs including greeting patrons, handing out programs, showing patrons to their seats, answering questions, and selling concessions and merchandise. You sign up for the events that work with your schedule. Most of our events are evenings and/or weekends with a few daytime events as well. We ask that our volunteers be helpful, friendly and wear black pants/skirt and a white shirt/sweater/top for their shifts. Ushers are able to watch the shows they volunteer for free. The Ford Center for the Performing Artis enriches the intellectual and cultural environment of The University of Mississippi and the region by provding a venue for programming in performing arts, public affairs and the humanities. We host touring shows as well as student driven shows and University hosted events and meetings.
