Urgently seeking 5 or more volunteers to help form a Pen Pal Volunteer team. We have many patients who would enjoy receiving cards and letters by mail. As part of the Pen Pal team, each person can contribute individually or as a group to create fun, compassionate and unique correspondence for hospice patients. Ideas are birthday cards, holiday cards, coloring pictures or sending copies of magazine/newspaper articles to those who love receiving mail. Orientation is held at our Columbia, MO office to prepare you for this volunteer role. So, organize your group or join separately, to achieve this rewarding fun opportunity.
