Kindred Hospice is looking for a Veteran volunteer to visit a 75 year old male with a hospice diagnosis of brain cancer. He is an army veteran from the Vietnam war era. He is alert and oriented at this time.

As a veteran volunteer you would visit this veteran patient in his home two-three times per month and stay 30-60 minutes each visit.

While there you can talk, play games, read, watch TV/movies, do word search or crossword puzzles, color, pray aloud, look at pictures, listen to music, or really anything!

You choose the days and times you visit and work out the schedule with the family.

Volunteer Coordinator will go with you on your first visit to introduce you to the patient.
