Back Room Team Leader-1

• General Description:

• This position involves managing Back Room volunteers and in understanding each volunteer position responsibilities.
• Supervising sorting, receiving and stocking procedures.
• This position is responsible for the following areas:

-Inventory Room

-Produce/Fruit Washing Station

-Receiving Areas

• Assignments:

• Open the Food Pantry in time to accommodate the first food rescue delivery. (Some daily deliveries begin at 8:30 a.m.)
• Check with Volunteer Manager on community volunteers coming in to assist.
• Supervise and sign off on any community service hours.
• No court ordered community service allowed. If need to make referral, refer volunteer to Volunteer Center of McHenry County.
• Assign volunteers to specific tasks and ensure that each assigned task is completed.
