Bike MS Logo

The National MS Society is hosting our Annual Bike MS: Tour de Beach. Starting and finishing in Gulf State Park. Cyclists will ride up to 75 miles each day, stopping at various rest stops along the route.

This two-day ride will take place on September 30th and October 1st. We expect over 300 cyclists for this year’s event, and we rely on our volunteers each year to unsure that events like these are a success!

REST STOP Volunteer Opportunity:

  • Volunteers will support our participants by serving drinks, food, and providing moral support as they ride up to 75 miles each day! We provide all the necessary instructions, supplies and equipment; we just need volunteer support! (Occasional lifting may be required)

Volunteers are the helping hands that make the event possible! When you join the Bike MS Volunteer Team, you become a part of Bike MS. Together we will provide support, raise money, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of people living with MS.

For more information and/or to register to volunteer, please click 'I Want to Help', or contact Simon Robson (simon.robson@nmss.org)

Mission Statement

To end the devastating effects of MS

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.

The Society offers key fundraising activities such as The MS150 Bike Ride, MS Walk and Stand Against MS. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
