Mission Statement

World Commerce & Contracting and WorldCC Foundation believe in a world where all trading relationships deliver both social and economic benefit. Trade and trading relationships are the foundation of human society enabling prosperity and driving social benefit. Yet in reality, the world of commerce is often divisive and exclusionary. Contracts themselves are typically unusable by the bulk of society because of the way they are written.

World Commerce & Contracting is a not for profit 501c 6 professional association and the only global body promoting standards and raising capabilities in commercial practice.

Through our research and ideas, we inspire and equip our members with knowledge and networks that support successful contracts and commercial relationships. We provide a home for a diverse community of commercial and contract professionals as well as procurement and legal practitioners. We seek to identify and promote the international standards and practices for defining, managing and improving trading relationships. Harnessing the collective knowledge of our members, we develop and communicate leading and emerging practices that support economic growth and successful, ethical, and sustainable outcomes.

WorldCC Foundation is a 501c3 public charity working globally.

The core purpose of the Foundation is to consolidate, develop and promote the components needed for sustainable contracting and the delivery of social value in the longer term. Progress in adoption and use depends upon the availability of common standards which must be publicly available and free to use. WorldCC Foundation's greatest strength lies in its ability to draw upon the diverse world-wide community established by World Commerce & Contracting. It is the differentiator that sets our work apart and provides achievability.
