Do you have a gentle and loving furry friend who thrives on meeting and snuggling with new people? Then our volunteer pet visitation/pet therapy program is perfect for you!

Pet visitation is known to lower blood pressure, heart rate, and stress. It also helps improve emotional health by decreasing anxiety and depression. Alzheimer's and Dementia patients greatly benefit from pet visitation as it calms agitation and fosters a heartfelt connection.

We would love to have you and your fur baby volunteer at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion!

Hillcrest requires:

• Letter of Recommendation from Veterinarian or certification as a pet therapy animal
• Current vaccination records
• Application from Pet Owner
• Orientation
