Kirkwood Historical Society - Call for Key Volunteers

Kirkwood Historical Society (KWHS) is seeking Key Volunteers. Key Volunteers are critical to the success of KWHS and will provide management, service, consultation and advice in the Internal and External Affairs of the Society and Mudd’s Grove. If you are passionate about Kirkwood, History, Architectural Preservation, Fundraising, Community Engagement or Technology, we have opportunities for you to engage with an active and vibrant Board. This is not a search for Episodic volunteers (one-time event based).

The Events & Fundraising Sub-Committee is responsible for organizing and managing major annual events such as the Strawberry Festival, Greentree Festival and Spring and Holiday Home Tours. It is also responsible for creating, recommending and implementing stand-alone fundraising events, partnerships and managing them in a turn-key manner. This committee effectively plans and promotes the events and provides a post evaluation for each.
