Volunteers are essential to MDA’s mission of transforming the lives of people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases. We are seeking volunteers to assist with the 26th Annual MDA-CITGO Driving for a Cure Golf Outing. At this time, this will be an in-person volunteer opportunity. As a volunteer in this role, you will be attending a local live golf tournament and provide support the day of the event.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participating in trainings
- Working with volunteers
- Event execution, including but not limed to:
- Event set up
- Registration
- Beverage distribution
- Photograph guests
- Auction management
- Event banquet execution
- Event breakdown
Important COVID-19 Update: By agreeing to sign-up as an MDA volunteer for any events taking place in-person, you acknowledge that MDA may require you to wear a mask, present a negative COVID-19 test, and/or show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to participate. MDA will do its best to inform all volunteers if any of these measures are necessary in a timely manner in advance of the volunteer opportunity.
