ORGANIZATION: American Heart Association - Northwest Florida

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heart disease and stroke. The event will take place on Thursday, September 8th.

Volunteer tasks will include:

  • Set up and d├ęcor
  • Work stations in event area and on route to assist sponsors
  • Cheer on walkers
  • Clean up
Timeline:
12:30-4:30: set up event
4:30: festivities begin
5:30: walk begins
6:00 (approximately): begin breakdown/clean up
