ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels of Wake County, Inc.
Meals on Wheels is the only nationwide, community-based network of support dedicated to making sure that no senior is ever left isolated or hungry. The Wake County Meals On Wheels serves around 1300 clients daily and we need your help.
Meals On Wheels Senior Dinning Center located inside the Pine Acres Community Center Fuquay-Varina, NC is in need of friendly and enthusiastic volunteers Monday-Friday from 10-11am!
Can you teach a craft? Lead a karaoke session? Or have another fun activity in mind? Come volunteer to lead an activity of your choosing to our seniors.
Volunteers can commit daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly.
Parking:
Community center parking lot.
What to bring:
Prizes, art supplies, activity necessities, etc (optional).
Entrance:
Straight in through the front. Ask for Site Manager Linda.
Volunteers must fill out a application on site on your first day.

To provide nutritious meals to the frail, homebound elderly & disabled citizens of Wake County in order to improve health, reduce isolation, & prevent inappropriate institutionalization & to serve nutritious meals and provide social & educational opportunities to persons 60 & over in congregate nutrition sites.
Meals on Wheels of Wake County is a non-profit service that serves the noon meal Monday through Friday by home delivery or in congregate dining sites.
