The Autumn Escape Bike Trek is an annual event hosted by the American Lung Association will begin and end at Camp Burgess, 75 Stowe Road, Sandwich, MA. Volunteer tasks start at 7am and end at approximately 12:00 pm each day. Some of the tasks are registration, rest stops, cheering the trekkers into camp each day and helping at our Trek Tent City with set up and breakdown (approx. time 10am -4pm). We offer a number of programs that are designed to help people quit smoking, learn to live with and control their asthma, and prevent adolescents from smoking, just to name a few.
As long as anyone struggles to breathe freely, the Lung Association will be there to champion for them. Because when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.
