- Assist with staffing the Tool Lending Library
- Help with intaking new tools, lending and providing basic safety training and advice, and checking in returned tools
- Maintain the tools
We also need additional assistance during the week (anytime Mon-Fri 9-4pm) to help process tools.
The aim of the Tool Lending Library is to: > Provide tools to make home maintenance and preservation more accessible to all > Empower individuals by teaching them skills > Create an active sharing economy and community > Help the environment

Celebrating over 48 years in operation Historic Albany Foundation is a private, not-for-profit. The goal of HAF? To preserve and protect buildings that have architectural, historic, or civic value. We fulfill our mandate through educational programming, tours, technical assistance, community projects, advocacy for endangered buildings, and the operation of our Architectural Parts Warehouse.
Description
We are currently working on creating a Tool Lending Library to help make preservation and home maintenance more accessible. We will also be providing free programs based on common DIY tasks.
