Purpose:
Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization believes that with the right opportunities and support, vulnerable youth can overcome the circumstances of their vulnerability and begin to be restored. We are seeking a highly organized and engaged individual to serve as a primary assistant to the Executive Admin. Assistant, performing a wide variety of duties and responsibilities that can be complex, sensitive, and confidential administrative support functions. This position's description can be altered or changed anytime at the discretion of the EAA.
Supervisor: This individual reports directly to the Organization's Executive Vice president of Admin & People
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary assistant to Corporate leaders, representing the corporate team in interactions with internal and external parties;
- Supports the EV with accounting, Finance, and Operations, along with administrators/executives with their respective positions, projects, and functions as directed by the EAA;
- Performs a wide variety of administrative duties to support the work of the executive team including but not limited to helping in the preparation of office budgets and monitoring budget expenditures, reviewing and preparing requests for payment, drafting special requests
- Scheduling meetings or conference calls for the corporate leaders, reviewing and conducting research, and assembling and summarizing information from a variety of sources for special projects and reports on behalf of the organization;
- Serves as liaison with internal and external parties directed by the EAA;
- Provide direction to other administrative support staff concerning financial; activities and overall compliance matters; and performs related duties as assigned by COS;
- Reviews, proofread and edit all reports and agenda items for COS and corporate leaders including marketing and email materials;
- To assist with functions of the marketing and development departments as directed by the COS;
- Analyze complex, sensitive problems and situations, evaluate alternatives, and make sound appropriate recommendations for the organization;
- Research on behalf of COS laws, codes, regulations, rules, and policies applicable to areas of responsibility related to financial reporting and general internal and external compliance;
- Organize, research and maintain office filing systems and document management databases
- Track and ensure expense reports for COS are processed promptly.
- Oversee specific positions and projects of the organization directed by the COS.

Description
The Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization Inc.is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the youth, teens, youth adults, and communities through our mission and vision. We believe that it is our duty and responsibility to render services to the communities by implementing restoration programs and development training to our youth, young adults, and communities. We will:
- Empower our youth to "Think Big" in all that they say and do.
- Meet the needs of the surrounding communities.
- Ignite unity in every community.
- Act as mentors and coaches for all of our members and the organization.
- Help create and develop our future leaders.
The R.O.Y.Organization's servant journey has begun to target youth group ages 3-12, teens 13-19, young adults 21-25, and south suburban communities in the Chicagoland area. Our future goal is to reach all developing communities around the world.
It is our mission and vision to re-invent the wheel and restore the youth, and generations that have suffered from many past and present negative milestones to included deprivation of equality, economic success, and social justice.
Our team consists of professional leaders and concerned citizens who are charged up, and who are passionate about driving the R.O.Y.Organization's mission and vision. We pledge to make a positive change that will ignite togetherness, and develop leaders to be productive citizens of today, tomorrow, and generations to come.
