BARK Rescue CA is a startup 501c3 foster-based animal rescue organization based in Fremont, CA. We do not have a facility to shelter the dogs so we rely 100% on foster parents. To build our foster network, we’d like to start participating in local events to spread the word of our presence in the community so that we can build our foster network.

We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate events, whether in-person or virtual events. Coordinating each of these events includes the following activities:

1. Research what events we can do or participate in.
2. Plan & organize the logistics and volunteers who will participate in the event.
3. Coordinate spreading the word about the events by coordinating the social media team to create social media posts and flyers about the event.

Minimum Requirements:

• For in-person events, you have to be Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted.
• Must be planful, very organized, communicative and deadline-oriented.
• Must be located in the east bay area of San Francisco Bay Area OR if located further than that, must be willing to travel to the Fremont area.
