In an effort to support our STEAM initiatives, we are seeking vibrant, service-oriented and kindhearted STEAM Ambassadors that or either students or working professionals in the fields Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and/or Math!
Ideally, volunteers offer just 3-6 hours monthly to assist us in providing virtual, interactive and custom STEAM materials for our young learners at Youth For A Better Future, a youth-oriented non profit based out of Chicago, Illinois! Our STEAM Ambassadors have done work providing the following sorts of content;
- Pre-recorded video walkthroughs of experiments or topics teaching something that our youth would find fun and interesting
- "Vlog" style videos documenting a day in the life of a workplace setting (laboratory, health care setting, arts, etc.)
- Offer insight to our team to help grow the program and youth participation

These are the programs that we currently offer:
S.T.E.A.M
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math):
- We are currently providing virtual S.T.E.A.M. experiences to youth, locally and nationwide.
- We strategically utilize our partnerships to inspire them to think about the future and lead them toward fulfilling careers.
F.A.M Fitness
(Family and Movement):
- We organize live Fitness classes and events to encourage our youth and their families to live healthy lifestyles.
- We create partnerships with professionals and brands to further our vision.
Mentoring Through Tutoring:
- Currently virtual, "Mentoring Through Tutoring" is a program that started in 2012 in the Englewood area of Chicago.
- We provide after-school "one-on-one" and "group tutoring" to youth grades K-12.
