The Public Relations (PR) Coordinator will be in charge of overseeing the foundation's media communications by drafting press releases, organizing PR events, and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders and community partners. More duties might include monitoring media coverage, coordinating interview requests, coordinating awareness campaigns, working closely with the Social Media Coordinator to develop social media posts, and developing promotional material. The PR Coordinator will need a solution-based aptitude and the ability to handle any media-related requests or crisis in a calm and timely manner. The PR Coordinator should also display exceptional communication skills and an acute understanding of brand management. In this new role, the Public Relations (PR) Coordinators will be responsible for managing image and developing toolkits and strategies to increase brand awareness. The PR Coordinator will report to the CEO & President.

The E.WE Foundation is a 501c3 healthcare advocacy organization established in 2019 to provide resources and support to families affected by rare diseases like Edwards Syndrome or Trisomy 18.

The E.WE Foundation offers three (3) core programs: LEAP, ZEBRA, and STRIPE.

LEAP is a resource program promoting health literacy, community education, and patient advocacy.

ZEBRA is a comfort care program that promotes self care and mental health for families with rare diagnoses, medical complexities and special health needs.

STRIPE is an economic assistance program designed to assist with the financial burden associated with caring for an individual with Trisomy 18.

The E.WE Foundation is committed to ensuring all patient populations have equitable access to quality healthcare, resources, health & financial literacy and disease education.
