ORGANIZATION: Animal Assistance League of Orange County

AALOC has three major fundraisers throughout the year. The goal is to have someone take over the planning of these events or event. There will be a period of training which will include participation in the planning of the event from beginning to end.

Animal Assistance League is a non-profit humane society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, and is dedicated to aiding lost and unwanted pets, to helping people with pet-related problems and to promoting responsible pet-ownership and pet population control.

Description

League activities include: Maintain a no-kill shelter, pet aid program to assist low-income or homeless individuals with critical vet care, a spay/neuter assistance program and helpline to assist people with pet-related issues including rehoming, lost and found, low-cost veterinary suggestions, and other questions related to animal welfare.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Various. Planning event will take a commitment of weeks and perhaps months, depending on event, of at least 3-5 hours per week.
  • We are looking for someone who can work well with others, who has organizational skills and can work independently once orientation and training complete.
