Join Sno-King Watershed Council, in partnership with the City of Kenmore, for habitat restoration in Wallace Swamp Creek Park on Sunday, September 11 from 11 am - 2 pm!

Families and all ages welcome! Volunteers under 18, please bring a parent or guardian with you. Come when you can and stay as long you are able.

Dress for wet and muddy conditions and/or heat (depending on the season). Layers and sunscreen are good!

Please bring:
* mask (for if social distancing is not possible)
* water bottle
* work gloves if you have them
* your favorite tool for digging or clipping if you would like to use it

We will have tools and extra work gloves to share.

We may be clipping Himalayan blackberry canes, digging blackberry root balls, hauling mulch, or digging other non-native invasive plants.

Our goals - Connect and empower people working to protect streams and watersheds; Advocate for laws and policies that protect streams and watersheds; Promote stream and watershed conservation, restoration & salmon recovery activities; Improve awareness and behavior via outreach and environmental education.

Description

Sno-King Watershed Council is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our members believe that our streams and waters should be places where our children can play without worrying about pollution, contamination or getting sick. We want to see salmon return again and have healthy habitat for wildlife. Green spaces and clean streams add to our quality of life. We support projects that help us take care of these places together.
