Direct Care Volunteers serve as an additional support to patients and families dealing with a terminal illness and end-of-life issues.
Volunteer support is provided in a variety of ways: companionship, socialization, respite, phone calls, reading, writing, games, movies, music, cooking, light housekeeping, gardening, pet care.
Volunteers must be 18+ and will include continuing education and mandatory annual in-services.
