Overview: The Civic Engagement AmeriCorps VISTA member for the Department of Student Leadership at Kennesaw State University will assist the department’s staff with implementing programs and services that allow students to learn more about and engage in civic engagement. The VISTA member will research emerging practices and trends, train student volunteers, implement programmatic activities, and build partnerships to support civic engagement opportunities for the campus community.

Member Duties: The Civic Engagement VISTA will provide support for the Student Leadership Department in developing high-impact civic engagement programs and services for Kennesaw State University students, provide capacity for the development of high-impact civic engagement practices, and develop sustainability plans for civic engagement outreach efforts.
