Are you looking for a meaningful way to support other veterans? We have just the opportunity for you!
Gentiva Hospice is a We Honor Veterans partner and we are actively recruiting veterans to sit with our veteran patients! As a veteran to veteran volunteer, you will sit with veterans who are receiving hospice services to allow them the opportunity to have companionship with a fellow veteran. Veteran volunteers will also help with pinning veteran patients in order to help honor the patient and their family.

Description
Gentiva Hospice services allow patients to make the most of each day, at home surrounded by friends and family in a familiar, comfortable environment. Gentiva offers a special kind of caring atmosphere that encompasses the medical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspect of treatment. Through a team approach, Gentiva Hospice's goal is to ensure that the patient's remaining days are lived with dignity and respect.
