ProMedica hospice of Allentown is seeking Cosmetologists and Barbers who can occasionally cut and / or style a hospice patients' hair. We'd hove you on our Volunteer call list. Hospice patients are often unable to leave their home or room to visit a salon. The simple act of having a fresh haircut or style can bring great joy and comfort to a person as they navigate their end-of-life journey.
A thorough training is provided assist the volunteer understanding hospice standards of care. There are additional requirements for a background check, TB testing which is provided free of charge.

Our holistic care is provided by a professional team which includes our Medical Director, RN's, LPN's, CNA's, Social Workers, Bereavement Coordinator, Spiritual Care Coordinators, Volunteer Coordinator, and Volunteers.
