Recruiting Organization: GLIDE

The GLIDE Legacy Committee inspires the next generation of Bay Area change-makers to engage in the life-altering and life-saving work of GLIDE.

GLIDE is a nationally recognized center for social justice dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty and crisis, and transforming lives.

We have the following shifts available for August 19, 2021.

Please note: This event is 21+ including volunteers. IDs will be checked at the door by event staff

  • D├ęcor and Set Up 4-8pm (4 volunteers)

This shift will support our event production partners in creating the magical ambiance through decorating the event venue and helping with set up

  • Food Service (14 volunteers)

Come support GLIDE's annual Legacy Gala through volunteering! This shift will support the food service portion of the evening. Volunteers may be asked to pass plates of food, monitor a food or beverage station, and/or assist with light clean up and table bussing.

  • Coat Check 2 (Volunteers)

This shift will support coat check. Volunteers will be helping guests securely store and retrieve their jackets, bags and other personal items.

  • Photographer Assistant (2 Volunteers)

This shift will support our event photographers in capturing the magic of a GLIDE event. Volunteers will be assisting with line management and photo staging.
