FUNDAR-Galapagos is looking for a motivated and creative volunteer (or intern) to help with the design and elaboration of campaign and educational materials for 2 of its projects. The first project aims to increase the active participation of women in decision-making processes in the Gal?pagos Islands and to increase awareness about women's rights through various workshops. The other project relates to water and includes an awareness campaign in community and schools to promote a more responsible use of water. Person Profile: Required: - Proven experience in design and elaboration of communication and educational materials - Good verbal and written communication skills - Good knowledge of Spanish - Flexibility - Able to work independently and in team

Desirable: - Previous experience working in an NGO - Knowledge of development issues - Previous experience in Latin-America

Tasks will include the design of campaign and educational materials, the elaboration of these materials, and support in the development of effective communication strategies to reach the target population (in both projects).

The duration of the volunteer position is minimum 4 months and volunteers are responsible for their own transportation costs to and from the Galapagos Islands and their own expenses in Puerto Ayora. If necessary accommodation can be arranged.
