About you:

About us:

CYF is a non-profit organisation based in the UK. We train refugees and people from deprived backgrounds in full-stack web development. Our work helps to increase diversity in the tech industry with 70 percent of our students going onto further education or successful careers in tech. We rely on volunteers to help run our programmes and keep changing lives.

We are growing our reach, capability and impact, but we can't do it without people like you! People from all industries welcome in our vibrant community, not only tech! Our values: 1. We believe in creating a supportive family where everyone belongs 2. Everything we do, we do with kindness and respect 3. We believe in the equality of all voices 4. We firmly believe that through challenge, people can achieve their best 5. We empower our students and volunteers, and they represent us 6. Everything we do creates a real impact in the world

Description

We are a non-profit organisation supporting refugees and disadvantaged individuals with the dream of becoming developers. In their journey of interrupted lives, unfinished studies and integration challenges, many of these individuals yearn to update their tech skills, but lack learning opportunities. We want to change this. In 2016 we launched the first cohort of our 8-month web development programme, coached by a group of professional developers.
