Please sign up through this form to help us with our tracking:

County Clean-Up Day volunteers may help direct traffic or work together to unload materials from resident cars. Snacks, drinks, and lunch are provided. You'll receive more information and a volunteer waiver prior to your volunteer day from the Clean-Up Day Event coordinator. Learn more about Clean-Up Days at

Two shifts are available (Volunteers are welcome to sign up for both shifts!):

8:30 AM - 11:00 AM (arrive to check-in at 8:30)

10:45 AM - 1:15 PM (arrive to check-in at 10:45)

The Public Works Division operates under the guidance of the Board of Public Works, with a focus on assisting local communities within Washtenaw County in addressing environmental and public health issues and development needs.


The division of public works specific programming includes Zero Waste Events, Home Toxics Collections, and County Clean up Days. Other project areas include lake management and solid waste management.
