Become a Hospice Volunteer for the Aurora Visiting Nurse Association of Wisconsin. A warm smile... A touch to the hand... An hour of your time... Such things mean the world to a terminally ill patient and to their family. One person can make a difference, be that person. This position includes: Visiting Hospice Patients: Volunteers can visit a patient wherever they call home. A volunteer can reminisce about the patient’s life, read, do light household chores, provide respite care for the caregiver, make or deliver meals...anything a good friend or neighbor might do.
Please visit https://www.aurorahealthcare.org/patients-visitors/volunteer to complete an online application. After your application has been received, you will receive an email in regards to the next steps.
Please note that VolunteerMatch requires an address be attached to the volunteer opportunities. The address associated with this posting is for Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County as the hospice team works remotely.
