Patient visitors provide companionship to hospice patients by listening, playing games, reading...the list is endless! Visits are tailored to reflect the needs and personalities of each patient.
No experience is required; training is provided.
Family Hospice is a not-for-profit agency. We have been providing compassionate and professional care for twenty-nine years in the Illinois counties of Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Washington.

Family Hospice brings compassionate, professional care to individuals experiencing a terminal illness. We seek to assist individuals in the communities we serve find meaning in the dying process by providing hospice care, not just for end of life, but for all of life. Heartlinks Grief Center, a program of Family Hospice, assists grieving children, individuals, families, and groups through individual and family counseling, peer support groups, and other supportive community programs regardless of ability to pay.
Family Hospice provides compassionate care to persons with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. A team of dedicated physicians, registered nurses, home health aides, chaplains, social workers and volunteers offers physical, emotional and spiritual support.
