ORGANIZATION: PROJECT V E T S

Project V.E.T.S. is looking for a volunteer to help out with our screening of the Bow Wow Film Festival, which we are hosting this year at the Lyric's outdoor theater in Fort Collins, CO on 9/22. We need help reaching out to sponsors and marketing for the event. We are looking for someone who can donate 2-5 hours/week on this project until the event in September. Please contact Emily at development@projectvets.org to learn more!

Volunteers can work remotely, in collaboration with the Development Director, in planning the Screening.

Project V.E.T.S. (Veterinary Equipment, Technology, and Supplies) collects unused and surplus veterinary supplies and sends them to underserved animal welfare partners around the world, saving usable items from going to waste while also helping dogs, cats, elephants, pangolins, horses, donkeys and more on 5 continents.

About PROJECT V E T S

Location:

1630A 30TH ST, # 256, BOULDER, CO 80301, US

Mission Statement

Project V.E.T.S. is dedicated to helping improve the health and welfare of animals around the world. We achieve this goal by collecting veterinary equipment, technology and supplies (V.E.T.S.) from veterinary hospitals, human hospitals, medical equipment/supply manufacturers and individuals and distributing them worldwide to veterinarians working in non-profit or non-governmental organizations devoted to animal health. In this way, we also conserve valuable resources that might otherwise end up in a landfill.

Description

Project V.E.T.S. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of wildlife, companion animals and working animals by collecting veterinary and medical equipment, technology and supplies (V.E.T.S.) from veterinary and human hospitals, manufacturers and individuals. These items are then distributed to veterinarians working in non-profit or non-governmental organizations worldwide who are also devoted to improving animal health and welfare (called "Recipient Organizations"). PV receives donations that are difficult for Recipient Organizations to procure due to lack of funding, inaccessibility and/or challenges with receiving items in their home country.
