We are seeking an energetic, passionate and self-driven individual who is savvy with content creating and handling social media. The Soical Media Manager will be responsible for creating compelling content for our website, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. This individual will be responsible for managing content development from beginning to end, creative conception, scheduling, planning, and all necessary editing.

The ideal candidate would be a visual storyteller, who loves graphic design, familiar with Canva, and social media. They would have a strong interest in mental health awareness, supporting/advocating for at-risk children and youth, and making a difference.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

  • Create original content to post across The Garden Corp's online platforms, while maintaining message consistency.
  • Brainstorm new/exciting ways to showcase the organization on social media and our website.
  • Plan and create videos and photos to be posted on social media and our website.
  • Use computer software to create compelling graphics that illustrate and promote The Garden Corp's mission.(experience with Canva is a plus)
  • Craft text and related graphical content to be used in social media campaigns and social promotions.
  • Monitor responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
  • Stay current on mental health awareness trends for possible opportunities to attract new supporters, followers, or create stronger, more engaging content.

Description

The Garden also provides emergency and short-term care for children and youth experiencing a crisis. The short-term care and emergency services offer a safe home-like environment for children and youth to feel secure and to gain a sense of stability , adoption placement and support, counseling and mental health treatment, education support and services, independent living skills, mentoring, and family crisis intervention .
