ORGANIZATION: GARDEN CORP

The Garden Corp is looking for a volunteer with experience in grant researching and writing. The volunteer will assist The Garden Corp in continuing to pursue their mission of promoting mental health awareness, and providing short term residential treatment care by researching and identifying grants that match the objectives of the organization. The volunteer will assist by developing proposals for matching grants and work closely with the Executive Director in conducting a final review of the grant proposals and ensuring a timely submission of the proposals.

Description

The Garden also provides emergency and short-term care for children and youth experiencing a crisis. The short-term care and emergency services offer a safe home-like environment for children and youth to feel secure and to gain a sense of stability , adoption placement and support, counseling and mental health treatment, education support and services, independent living skills, mentoring, and family crisis intervention .
