Access Equestrian is seeking kind and caring volunteers to assist in our programs who have experience working with horses and children. Help is needed in our summer enrichment program for school aged children with developmental disabilities. Our summer enrichment program operates Monday through Friday from 9AM - 1PM.
We are currently looking for volunteer enrichment program assistants for weekdays, two-hour once per week minimum. Start date is for immediate placement and shift times to be scheduled on weekdays.
Enrichment Program Assistant duties vary according to each particular schedule, but include everything from arts and crafts, barn care, horse handling, leading on trail walks, as well as assisting children with special needs. The efforts of our incredible volunteers make our programs possible. All volunteers will receive orientation training before joining our program. Additional training may be required upon placement and experience.
