Catholic Charities Atlanta is looking for an organized Public Benefits Facilitator with Microsoft Office experience and an appreciation for different cultures to join us in helping clients access public benefits assistance. This individual would be responsible for:

  • Distributing information to clients seeking assistance for SNAP benefits and/or Medicaid.
  • Reviewing and organizing client inquiries for Public Benefits assistance through voicemails and emails.
  • Performing intakes and screenings on clients interested in applying for Public Benefit Assistance Programs.
  • Participating in community outreach events to promote the Public Benefits Program.
  • Maintaining database, accurate files and records of clients served through the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (specifically PowerPoint and Word)
  • Appreciation for different cultures
  • Willingness to work with people of different cultures and backgrounds

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
