ORGANIZATION: Food Literacy Center

There’s more to animals than just ribs and steaks. In other cultures, it is customary to use the complete animal - nose to tail. Offal is the term for all those "other" parts: organs, feet, tongues, ears, skin, etc. Some of the best chefs in Sacramento will prepare offal dishes which will surprise and delight our guests. This event is a fundraiser for Food Literacy Center. Volunteers needed for: setup, check-in guests, bartend, wait staff, and clean up. If availabile, you can sign up for more than one volunteer shift.
