ORGANIZATION: ARTS ARE ELEMENTARY

Arts Are Elementary is seeking a fiscally minded individual to serve as Board Treasurer. This is a volunteer position.

Arts Are Elementary is an active, community based, 501(c)3 nonprofit with a focus on art, culture, and education. We are committed to sparking curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through arts integration in elementary schools within the greater Brunswick, ME area, and to raise awareness of the arts in our local community. Our budget is small, less than $50,000.
The Treasurer provides financial oversight and works closely with Board Chair, Board of Directors, and Executive Director to ensure the financial health of the organization and the success of its mission. Description

Arts Are Elementary works in partnership with local schools to provide every public pre-K-5 classroom in Brunswick with professional artist residencies and have been doing so since 1980. We also provide opportunities for the broader community to engage with art.
