Hope For The Warriors is back for the 15th Annual Long Island Run For The Warriors. We need volunteers to help with all aspects of this event. From set up to take down, working water stops, helping runners know where to run, passing out medals, etc. This is always a great event and we'd love your help.

2 Shifts

  • Sun Nov 06, 2022 - morning / 06:00 AM to 09:00 AM
    Volunteers will help with the set up for this event, working water stops, and being course marshalls for the event.
  • Sun Nov 06, 2022 - morning / 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM
    Volunteers will pass out medals, water and refreshments to the participants. They will also help with taking down this event.
  • NONE OF THESE DAYS WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP

Mission: We believe those touched by military service can succeed at home by restoring their sense of self, family, and hope. Nationally, Hope For The Warriors provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.

Description

Through four program pillars, Hope For The Warriors provides a full cycle of care to restore self, family, and hope to post-9/11 combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen. Our goal is to assist in all facets including family care, financial needs, morale trips, and professional development. The personal care and opportunities that we provide lead to long-lasting personal restoration. We invite you to navigate through each pillar page to learn more about our programs.
