ooking for Volunteer Drivers for a Great Cause!
Do you have Mondays free? Whether you're retired, semi-retired, or just looking to give back, we’d love your help! We're seeking dedicated volunteers to join our transport team and drive dogs to their spay/neuter appointments. Flexible scheduling allows you to sign up only when it works for you.
Here’s how it works:
- When: Every Monday.
- Where: Trips begin in Tarentum, PA, at 6:00 AM. After a few pickup stops for foster dogs, you’ll arrive at Alley Cat Spay & Neuter Clinic in Calcutta, OH, by 8:00 AM. Return trips usually start between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
- What you’ll do:
- AM driver: Transport foster dogs to their appointment.
- PM driver: Pick them up and bring them back.
What’s provided:
- A vehicle and gas - no out-of-pocket costs for you!
- The option to bring a friend along for the ride.

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.
We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.
Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
