Veteran-to- Veteran Volunteer Opportunity
Share Your Smile. Share Your Patriotic Pride. Share Your Time.
The Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer program aims to pair recruited Veteran Volunteers with Hospice Patients who have been identified as Veterans through the We Honor Veterans program. A Veteran Volunteer can support Veterans with companion visits, friendly conversations, sharing stories, reading to patients, watching TV and movies together, and listening to music together. Spending time with a Veteran patient can help relieve the patient’s anxiety and affirm the patient’s value.
