ORGANIZATION: Seal Beach Animal Care Center
Co-manage website maintenance and development with our current volunteer webmaster. Current or recent website experience. Must have excellent communications skills and be able to work in a collaborative environment. Experience with Wordpress. Tasks include:
Manage minor/major Wordpress core, themes and plugin updates.
Manage security plugin configuration, scans and monitoring.
Manage website backups.
Make content changes to forms, pages and links. Test links to make sure they function/acceptable.Manage the Google G-Suite Groups-mailing lists-used by online forms.
Add and remove shelter volunteers from Google [sbacc.org] and shared drive.
Provide basic uptime and site health monitoring.
Maintain the testing website.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs and issues with the site.
Manage user accounts on the site-adding and deleting user names and passwords along with assigning user permissions.
Review and manage Bluehost web hosting panel, upgrades and notices.
Manage security software updates and prompt payment of fees.
Monitor the site for malware and spam.
Monitor Google search console.
Monitor Google analytics for performance and page issues.

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit animal shelter formed in 1986 to find homes for the dogs, cats, and occasional rabbits, lost within our city limits. We are California non-profit 501-C3 corporation # 33-0192138. All donations are tax deductible. The Friends of the Seal Beach Animal Care Center (and all the animals in our care) appreciate our members, the City of Seal Beach, and the general public for their generous support. All donations received go directly to the care of the animals, with veterinary costs being our biggest expense.
