Chinatown Museum Foundation, which governs the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, is expanding its Associate Board.

An associate board is a leadership group made up of young professionals who, through their own time, talent and resources, help expand the capacity and advance the mission of a nonprofit. Members are usually between the ages of 25 and 35 years old, and are the rising leaders in their respective industries.

If you are between 25 and 35 years old and are interested in serving on a nonprofit associate board with other young individuals who are passionate about maintaining a museum in Chicago for the purpose of promoting exhibitions, education, and research related to Chinese American culture and history in the Midwestern United States, ensuring the museum’s sustainability, and safeguarding its existence so as to preserve stories about Chinese Americans for future generations, we would love for you to join us.

Chinese descent or Chinese-speaking is not required, but knowledge of Chinese American history is preferred.

If interested, please email office@ccamuseum.org with letter of interest and CV.
