Drop in and get your hands dirty while restoring river habitat! The pilot Manomin (Fridley) Restoration Crew plans to meet every other week for summer. Manomin is just north of I-694 on the east side of the river in Fridley. Activities will include vegetation removal, and site exploration. If you like to be outdoors and create tangible change in the environment, this opportunity is for you! Volunteers should be prepared to hike on steep, sometimes slippery terrain and bend over frequently. We will use hand tools to remove vegetation. No experience is required!
